Meet Sara...
Singing Teacher & Founder
Sara founded Sixpence Voice Studio & Stage School in 2012 after completing her training at Cumbria Insititue of the Arts and working overseas as both a performer and tutor. She has taught in various educational institutions from Priestley College and the University of Liverpool. Sara is also a busy Mum of boys (and three dogs, and goldfish- Sheila!)
Meet Dave...
Singing Teacher
Dave has taught at Sixpence for 14 years after graduating with a Popular Music degree and loves watching students confidence and ability grow. When he's not teaching he can be found performing with a professional show choir or watching a concert (he's the master of getting those sold out tickets!).
Meet Chloë...
Singing Teacher
Chloë has been a Voice Tutor for her entire professional career, after completing her PhD in Music at the University of Huddersfield. She still regularly performs in a wide range of genres and loves all things rock and gothic. Chloë loves helping her students explore new styles and develop their vocal technique.
Meet Liv...
Singing Teacher
Liv has been with Sixpence for 7 years and counting... She also regularly performs with her partner in their musical duo, The Microtones. Her classical background, and choir skills see her in both member and conductor roles at several choir groups. Outside the studio you'll find her at a women's football match or snuggling her cat Pumpkin.
Meet Alex...
Singing Teacher
Alex graduated from the University of Chichester and soon joined the Sixpence gang shortly after. His students love his kind and patient personality in their lessons. Alex teaches any genre, but is fond of Musical Theatre, with a soft spot for Sara Bareilles.
